CHM 1080 - Nursing Chemistry Fundamentals

Credits: 4
This course will introduce the student to the basic concepts of general, organic and biochemistry specificaly as they apply to the life sciences.
The 3-hour laboratory scheduled for the course will include one hour of recitation which incorporates problem solving and the quantitative aspects of chemical behavior, along with 2 hours of hands-on laboratory work.
Lecture hours/Lab hours: 3 hours lecture/3 hours lab
Prerequisites: High School Chemistry, MTH 0150  or equivalent score on mathematics screening test.
