BIO 4080 - Ecology Credits: 4 This course is intended to develop an understanding of the interconnectedness of organisms, the environment and the processes of evolution. Organisms will be studied in an interrelated manner revolving around how they have evolved to exist in a particular environment. Laboratories will emphasize experimental design, statistical analysis, and the development of basic ecological models using spreadsheet software. Lecture hours/Lab hours: 3 hours lecture; 3 hours lab Prerequisites: A minimum grade of C in BIO 1040 or BIO 1140 , a minimum grade of C in a college level chemistry course.
